About the job

About NFR Group

Nordic Financial Regulation Group (NFR Group) is an advisory firm providing Risk and Regulatory advisory based on a new and sustainable advisory model. Our model incorporates sound and transparent corporate governance and social responsibility in addition to environmental aspects. NFR Group’s purpose is to create responsible solutions and ensure client satisfaction through deliveries based on our values. We have offices in Stockholm, Malmö, and Oslo but work with clients across the entire Nordic financial sector.

The competence and experience of our employees determine what we can offer and to what extent we can deliver value to our clients. Our business model is therefore tailored to our employees to create the greatest possible value for our clients. NFR Group supports the Nordic financial sector with a wide range of risk and regulatory services. Our service areas include Risk & Resilience Management, Governance & Compliance, ESG & Sustainable Finance, Cyber Security & Data Protection, and Financial Crime Prevention.

The company is fully owned by its employed experts, which is a essential component of our sustainability focus. We are all committed of the footprint we leave for the next generation.

Job Description

Since its inception, NFR Group has been clear in its advice to clients that the regulatory framework for ESG requires significant coordination and calibration. We have assessed that the situation presents elevated regulatory uncertainty and have indicated to clients that we expect material changes in requirements and deadlines. We recently received confirmation that substantial changes are being made to previously proposed regulations and that planned deadlines are being postponed.

Our approach to ESG & Sustainable Finance differs from what is typically seen in the market. We are therefore interested in hearing your reflections on our approach and advisory focus on ESG & Sustainable Finance within the financial sector.

You will be responsible for leading our Nordic team of experts and developing our service offerings within ESG & Sustainable Finance while working closely with other experts in NFR Group. In your role, you will assist clients with both operational and strategic challenges related to the transition to a more sustainable society. This may include materiality assessments, supplier and value chain analyses, integrating sustainability into corporate governance and risk management, and developing sustainability reporting.

It is a clear advantage if you have experience and deep insight of integrating ESG risks into risk management frameworks and developing scenario analyses within the financial sector. Your work will also involve advising our clients on a balanced implementation and compliance with regulatory requirements, as well as presenting opportunities and solutions relevant to the specific client.

Your preferred location would be Stockholm or Oslo, but you will be working on projects for clients across the Nordic region.

It is important that we contribute to the financial sector and share our knowledge with our clients. The role will include giving presentations, training sessions, and workshops with clients, as well as leading the development of capabilities such as competence, tools, and methodology and frameworks. Our client contacts are often executive management, line managers, or board members, and you should be comfortable operating in a strategic context and communicating with decision-makers.

Personal development and growth are crucial for us as advisors, and you will have the opportunity to work on a range of projects with varying complexity and duration.

We only accept applicants through the link below.
